FAQ’s

Q: Why envirOpak
A: envirOpak offers environmentally friendly solutions to combat against use of today’s wood pallets.

Q: What makes the SLIP-TRAY Pallet (STP) different than a slip sheet?
A: The STP’s rounded lip makes for lasting integrity that allows easy access for a fork lift or push pull.

Q: How much does a STP cost?
A: A STP normally costs $5-8.00.

Q: Can the STP replace any pallet?
A: Yes, the STP is direct replacement to wood, metal and plastic pallets.

Q: Does the STP require a push pull? (A special attachment that fits on a forklift which can cost $15-20,000)
A: No, the design of the STP allows it to be used with a normal fork lift.

Q: Who is currently using envirOpak STP?
A:
Our customers include Bridgestone/Firestone, Goodyear, Continental, H.J. Heinz, Bush Bros. as well as many other products, including zinc oxide, animal feed and various food grade products.

Q: How can the STP be utilized in a racking system with its lack of rigidness?
A: The STP can be placed on a captive pallet which can be placed stationary on the rack, only leaving the product on the STP to be moved.

Q: What other options do I have for racking?
A: envirOpak offers the Nest-N-Rack (NNR) solution. The NNR offers a built in captive pallet and the ability to nest one on top of the other, saving valuable space when not in use.

Q: What is the STP made of?
A: It is made of high-density polyethylene, the same plastic as a milk jug.

Q: Do I need special forks or attachments?
A: No, but we do recommend top tapered forks, which we can provide.
